New Version: building physics software
DÄMMWERK
DÄMMWERK supplies the standard and many additional calculation
possibilities for German EnEV 2001 (energy saving regulation), equipment
technology and energy counselling.
The different software modules are using the same input values. IInput and
results are graphically prepared at the same time.
With the "folded envelope surface management" a new, time-saving tool was
developed for surface calculation.
The revised new versions of German DIN V 4108-6 and DIN 4108-2 for energy saving regulations are implemented into the sopftware modules. The equipment techology is comletely revised and supplemented with an informative diagram for primary and final energy requirement and detailed calculation methods according to DIN V 4701-10.
Surfaces and volumes of buildings can be collected very fast and clearly by
the "principle of folded envelope surface. The newly developed surface
management works with any polygonal shapesand automatically generated
trapezoidal folded surfaces to limit the building body. The combination of diverse
building parts ( for example cube, roof, bay window + dormer or main and
auxiliary buildings), automatical subtraction areas and graphic structural
element allocation are supporting complex geometries. Handling complex sketches,
architectural or structural alternaves evolves into a momentary pastime.
Apart from complete envelope surface tables, lengths for thermal bridge
calculation or room geometries for summer heat protection can be derived of
the folding envelopes.
For the ever more important domain of energy consulting, new functions were acpuired. The cost-benefit ratio of indivdual constructional measures at roof, windows or external walls can be prepared locally for owner-suited energy counselling.
The building material data base was equipped with new manufacturer information. For the first time the data base contains building material designations in English language.
