CAD Supported Surface Computation with C3
The tabular surface calculation of thermal insulation proofs according to German WVO or EnEV is time-consuming diligent work.Since autumn 2000 (program version 4.10) DÄMMWERK software is providing surface calculation faster and more clearly, supporting CAD based surface calculation.
Together with Nemetschek AG, we developed therefore an interface. In addition zo DÄMMWERK, the surface module Allplan V 16.1 or the problem related modified independent CAD application C3 is required.
With C3, it is possible to read various formats (DXF etc.) or to draw
two-dimensional building faces. The dimensions of the thermic envelope are
transfered to DÄMMWERK as a list. CAD is automatically calculating surfaces, surface
subtractions and supplies descriptive sketches of the building
envelope.
